Work Environment

The clinic operates Monday to Friday, and we offer the flexibility for therapists to choose their own hours, accommodating a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as targeted exercise programs, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and increase mobility.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Educate and train patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic exercises and the use of assistive devices to promote independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay current with industry trends and continue professional development through workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors recovering from various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological disorders, and chronic pain. This role requires a compassionate and patient-centered approach, ensuring each individual receives care that is tailored to their unique health journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Virginia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for documenting patient records and treatment plans.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing flexible and responsive care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, although newly graduated therapists are encouraged to apply as we offer mentorship programs to support their growth.
• Experience with outpatient physical therapy settings will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
