Then we would love to have you join us!The RoleThe Director, Transformation Office Portfolio Lead is a key role within Genmab’s Transformation Office (TO). The Director will be the central orchestrator for operational and strategic initiatives, including initiative intake, prioritization, governance, reporting, and portfolio performance management. You will ensure that Genmab's most strategic initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities and deliver measurable business value. The initial focus of the Transformation Office is on R&D and Tech Ops (approximately 2,000 FTE), with potential for future scope expansion across the enterprise (⁓3,000 FTE). The Transformation Office Portfolio Lead partners closely with senior business leaders, initiative sponsors, project managers, finance business partners and functional teams to drive rigorous initiative portfolio management, accelerate execution, and provide transparency on progress, risks, dependencies, and value realization.As a key driver of the Transformation Office, the Director will lead initiative portfolio management processes, develop recommendations on initiative prioritization, sequencing, and TO resource allocation, and ensure decisions are translated into action to maximize organizational impact.The Director, Transformation Office Portfolio Lead will report directly to Head of the Transformation Office (currently the SVP, Global Head of PPM & R&D Operations). The position can be located in Plainsboro, NJ, Utrecht, NL or Copenhagen, DK.ResponsibilitiesOwn portfolio management for cross-functional transformation initiatives that support Genmab’s financial commitments and strategic objectivesSupport the Transformation Office’s goals and objectives, aligned with the company’s overarching strategy and 2030 VisionLead initiative intake screening, categorization, and prioritization processes, ensuring consistent application of prioritization criteria and governance frameworkSupport, challenges and monitors projects, initiatives, and analyses focused on company transformation and productivity gains to inform strategic capital allocation and resourcing decisionsCollaborate closely with Finance on Genmab’s long-range financial plan and annual budget cycleDrive the organization’s ongoing mindset shift toward productivity and prioritizationDrive execution of initiatives from initiation through closure, ensuring clear ownership, milestones, and follow-throughTrack, report, and communicate TO initiatives to major stakeholders at all governance levels, including progress, risks, dependencies, and value realizationDefine, establish, and continuously monitor Transformation Office portfolio KPIs and success measures, ensuring transparent reporting of initiative performance, value realization, and overall portfolio healthLead the coordination and preparation of TO meetings and serve as meeting moderatorReport on industry trends and peer company developments, translate their impact on Genmab, and improve overall strategic decision-making qualityWork cross-functionally with R&D, Tech Ops, Commercialization, Finance, Human Resources, DD&AI, and other teams to drive alignment and executionQualifications and RequirementsQualificationsA minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree is required; alternatively, 12 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree or PhDBachelor’s degree in life sciences, economics or finance required; advanced degree preferred.Prior management consulting with direct biotech/pharma case experience advising clients on company transformations preferredPrior biotech/pharma operating experience in a Transformation Office capacity and/or program and project management with a Finance background also highly valuedRequirementsPassionate about life sciences and Genmab’s purpose and missionDemonstrated knowledge and expertise to drive company transformations and productivity initiativesExperience preparing executive-level materials and presenting recommendations to senior leadership and governance bodiesExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across the different levels within the organizationHighly organized, attentive to detail, and results-driven, with a strong affinity for financial analysis, business performance metrics, and value realizationHighly self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership, drive activities independently, and manage multiple prioritiesDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and achieve outcomes across cross-functional teams without direct authorityStructured problem-solving skillsFor US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:$193,280.00---$289,920.00The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
