Position Overview

Deep Care Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Arlington, Virginia. Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, with a focus on home care. You will be working directly with patients in their homes, which allows for personalized care that accommodates each individual's unique environment and needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens tailored to each patient's needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team to maximize outcomes.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers to promote understanding and compliance with therapeutic suggestions.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills, ensuring that patients feel supported and valued throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Meet established utilization goals, contributing to the operational success of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related conditions. Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid DPT license to practice in the State of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• A passion for patient care and the ability to establish strong connections with patients for optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional specialties or certifications in areas such as pediatrics, neurology, or sports medicine will be highly considered. Previous experience in home care settings is also a plus, as it demonstrates adaptability to diverse patient environments.
