Work Environment\n

This role operates primarily in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring high-quality patient care. Our outpatient office serves as a hub for collaborative practice, where you will engage with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and administrative staff. Regular virtual meetings and case conferences will facilitate communication and cohesive treatment planning. Flexibility in scheduling will be required to adjust to patient needs, typically bounding to a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, followed by developing personalized treatment plans that respect their cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions through individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing resilience and emotional well-being.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues across disciplines for coordinated care, ensuring holistic treatment approaches are upheld.

• Provide crisis intervention services during acute mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong decision-making and crisis management skills.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and local resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of all counseling sessions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and cultural competency training to continually enhance your skills and those of the organization.

• Remain updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, integrating these insights into daily practice.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York state.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment modalities, emphasizing cultural competence in your approach.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish rapport with a wide range of clients.

• Experience delivering therapy within an outpatient setting, employing culturally responsive approaches.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications for seamless patient care management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
