Administrative Assistant (Construction Project)
Frederick, MD | Onsite | 1-Year Contract
Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistan t to support a busy construction project site in Frederick, MD. This is a one-year, fully on-site contract opportunity supporting a professional project team in a fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys keeping operations running smoothly, and takes pride in providing exceptional administrative support. If you're someone who thrives on organization, multitasking, and creating a positive workplace experience, we'd love to hear from you
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the project management team
- Coordinate meetings, including scheduling conference rooms, preparing materials, and managing calendars
- Arrange catering for meetings, project events, and weekly team lunches
- Maintain inventory of office and breakroom supplies, snacks, beverages, and other site necessities
- Ensure job site trailers remain organized, fully stocked, and operating efficiently
- Assist with scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, and general office administration
- Support project team members with special projects and administrative requests
- Serve as a welcoming point of contact for visitors, vendors, and team members
- Manage Outlook calendars and coordinate meeting logistics
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed to support daily operations
Qualifications
- 24 years of administrative support experience, preferably within construction, engineering, manufacturing, or another fast-paced project environment
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience coordinating meetings, scheduling, and catering
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently while supporting multiple team members
- Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
