Work Environment

This position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing you to deliver care from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will engage with clients primarily via secure telehealth platforms, an essential component of our integrated care model. Our flexible schedule allows for appointments during the regular workweek, generally between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, with additional evening hours on a rotating basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and substance use histories, using validated tools to identify co-occurring disorders.
• Collaborate closely with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based interventions, specifically tailored to address their unique needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on relevant skills such as coping strategies, relapse prevention, and emotional regulation.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, ensuring the coordination of care throughout the treatment process.
• Implement routine substance use monitoring and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients' engagement in their recovery efforts.
• Educate clients and their families about the intricate relationships between mental health conditions and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all treatment activities, progress, and referrals in alignment with ethical and legal practices.
• Engage actively in ongoing training and case conferences to refine your skills and expand your knowledge in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will directly engage individuals who are managing complex co-occurring disorders, often characterized by the interdependence of psychological challenges and substance abuse. You will be pivotal in guiding clients toward recovery by offering them effective strategies and tangible support within a compassionate framework. We aim to break the cycle of these disorders, helping clients achieve sustainable recovery and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatments for co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• A strong understanding of the multifaceted nature of mental health and substance use disorders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of clinical experience in a similar role, specializing in co-occurring disorder treatment.
• Experience in telehealth services and proficiency in using digital collaboration tools and electronic health record systems.
• A strong passion for integrated care approaches and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

You will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000, complemented by a generous sign-on bonus.
