Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' emotional, psychological, and social needs, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to create a sense of community and provide patients with the tools they need to cope with common mental health issues.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment continuity.

• Provide crisis intervention services and emergency support when necessary, demonstrating sound judgment and empathy in high-stress situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.
