Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This is a full-time contract opportunity to work with elementary and middle school students in two self-contained classrooms (LBS1 required). Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) certification is required
• Experience working in special education settings, preferably in self-contained classrooms
• Background with elementary and/or middle school grade levels strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction in two self-contained classrooms, focusing on students’ unique learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to foster a positive learning environment
• Develop and monitor IEP goals, documenting progress and adapting instructional strategies as needed
• Implement behavior management plans and promote positive student engagement
• Maintain accurate and timely records as required by school and district guidelines
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
