Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a personalized caseload of clients, developing and nurturing rapport while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

• Conduct regular client meetings to assess progress, reinforce stability, and plan for treatment continuance or discharge as suitable.
\n
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Maintain precise and thorough documentation and progress notes for every client interaction, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Carry out comprehensive intake assessments to gain a thorough understanding of the client's history, concerns, and treatment goals.

• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions weekly, leveraging evidence-based approaches to facilitate therapeutic progress.

• Engage in individual supervision sessions to develop professional skills and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to provide coordinated and integrative care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mindful Haven Solutions, you will provide care to a diverse outpatient population, encompassing a wide range of mental health concerns. Our clientele includes children, adolescents, adults, and families, each bringing unique challenges and opportunities for growth. You will tailor your therapeutic strategies to accommodate various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care while fostering an environment where every client feels valued and understood.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey is mandatory.

• Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is essential.

• Proficient computer skills are necessary; familiarity with electronic health records, Microsoft Excel, RMS systems, and telehealth platforms is beneficial.

• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with a focus on evidence-based practices.

• Comfort and experience in completing comprehensive intake assessments are critical.
