Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions with diverse groups, families, couples, and individuals, addressing a variety of mental health issues.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical records, adhering to all relevant laws and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing insights and expertise to provide comprehensive care for clients.

• Engage in continuous learning through workshops and training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest mental health research and techniques.

Your work will primarily focus on underserved populations in Houston and beyond, catering to clients who often face barriers to accessing mental health care. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• You must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a focus on clinical practice, is essential.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices and methodologies.
