Excelsior Wellness is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Telehealth Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. This role will allow you to make a profound difference in the lives of individuals in Washington State by delivering vital mental health support through remote interactions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices tailored to the individual treatment goals of clients, enhancing therapeutic effectiveness.

• Conduct comprehensive client intakes to assess mental health needs, background, and appropriate intervention strategies.

• Collaborate within the VIEW program team to enhance clients' overall care through shared insights and holistic treatment plans.

• Attend regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share best practices, and propose innovations in our counseling approach.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, skilled in various therapeutic methodologies appropriate for diverse client issues.

• Contribute to the development of recovery-focused initiatives and programs aimed at fostering resilience and coping strategies among clients.

• Assist in evaluating and improving the VIEW services for increased effectiveness and client satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will encompass a diverse demographic, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, among others. By fostering a therapeutic relationship, you will not only help clients navigate their current challenges but also empower them to develop skills for long-term mental health management.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Licensure through the Washington State Department of Health as an LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT.
\n
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in mental health counseling.
\n
• Exceptional verbal communication and adept active listening skills to facilitate meaningful client interactions.

• Empathetic approach with the ability to build trusting relationships to foster client engagement.
\n
• Strong team player capable of collaborating effectively with clinical and counseling professionals.
\n
• A commitment to addressing mental health stigma and promoting a culture of acceptance and wellness.

• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with telehealth platforms and digital counseling methodologies.

• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Motivational Interviewing.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Excelsior Wellness offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
