• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for thorough testing as needed.
• Keep meticulous documentation, assist in training new staff or students, and uphold the highest quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean and secure working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, is required alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), which must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of certification throughout the duration of employment is essential.
