Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to gain a deep understanding of clients' mental health needs, concerns, and personal goals.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders.

• Facilitate couples and family therapy sessions focused on resolving relationships dynamics, improving communication, and navigating family conflicts.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that outline tailored strategies, interventions, and clear objectives to address clients' unique needs effectively.

• Offer crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring timely support and risk management.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health challenges, providing them with practical coping strategies and knowledge of resources available for additional support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, keeping detailed assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes that comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Adhere rigorously to ethical guidelines and legal requirements governing counseling practices, ensuring the utmost confidentiality and informed consent for all clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
