Extension is seeking an Administrative & Accounting Assistant for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Menomonee Falls, WI!
Overview
Our client is a growing, family-owned industrial contracting company seeking a dependable Administrative & Accounting Assistant to support daily office operations and accounting functions. This role offers hands-on experience in accounting, payroll, tax reporting, contractor compliance, and administrative support, with training and long-term growth opportunities available!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts receivable, invoicing, and project billing
- Process and record cash receipts, including checks and ACH payments
- Support payroll administration and payroll tax filings
- Assist with sales and use tax reporting
- Support contractor license renewals and compliance requirements
- Maintain organized financial and administrative records
- Provide general office and administrative support
Qualifications
- Previous office administration, accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll experience required
- General understanding of payroll concepts, including deductions, withholdings, and paycheck structure
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field is a plus
Schedule & Salary
- Full-time, onsite position
- Up to $25 per hour, based on experience
