Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify client needs and create individualized, strength-based treatment plans that address mental health challenges.

• Provide therapeutic interventions through individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, peer specialists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
\n
• Guide clients through complex life transitions, stressors, and social determinants of health impacting their mental well-being.
\n
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EHR system, adhering to best practices and compliance regulations.
\n
• Engage in professional development by attending optional peer consultation groups, clinical training, and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW at Mentalis Health and Wellness, you will work with a diverse array of clients ranging from adolescents to adults, many of whom face challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and chronic stress. Your role will be critical in addressing the unique needs of individuals from underrepresented communities, ensuring culturally competent and inclusive care.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active LCSW license in California; individuals with Associate Social Worker licenses are encouraged to apply for supervised positions.

• A robust understanding of trauma-informed care and proficiency in evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of clinical experience in outpatient mental health, community-based settings, or teletherapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
