Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs through structured interviews and standardized assessment tools, leading to accurate clinical diagnoses.

• Formulate individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, ensuring each therapeutic approach aligns with the client's specific goals and circumstances.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide crisis intervention support, demonstrating effective techniques to manage acute mental health situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential client documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, including progress notes, treatment plans, and updates on client goals.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other mental health professionals, to integrate comprehensive care for clients.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options, providing essential resources and advocacy for clients’ rights.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and peer supervision to stay abreast of evolving therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will address a diverse range of mental health issues across multiple client demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will work directly with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your ability to provide culturally competent care will be fundamental in meeting the varied needs of clients within the Galveston area.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
