Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and follow-up consultations to document client cases accurately from intake through the end of treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and interviews.

• Create individualized and group-specific treatment plans that prioritize evidence-based interventions conducive to recovery.

• Lead and facilitate therapy sessions, leveraging therapeutic techniques catered to clients' needs and situational contexts.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to optimize treatment effectiveness.

• Engage in case collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, ensuring holistic care.

• Conduct necessary follow-ups with additional healthcare providers in situations involving hospital admissions to secure continuity of care.

• Identify potential barriers interfering with recovery, employing proactive strategies to mitigate these challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population experiencing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety disorders, grief, trauma, and emotional distress. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with individuals, families, and groups, adapting therapeutic methodologies that resonate with each unique client situation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Colorado.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated prior experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing a strong background in direct service provision.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for effective documentation and treatment tracking.

• A solid understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions as well as a familiarity with addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) to ensure compliance and ethical service delivery.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities that foster sincere client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits\n
