Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing for a balanced work-life arrangement while serving patients directly from home or any location of your choice. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and engage in a culture of open communication and support. Note that our standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while remaining responsive to the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the needs of patients, developing tailored treatment plans that address their individual challenges.

• Utilize diverse evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective treatment to clients in individual, couples, or family settings.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups that focus on prevalent mental health issues, fostering a sense of community and shared learning among participants.

• Collaborate with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance the coordination and comprehensiveness of patient care.

• React promptly and skillfully during mental health crises, providing immediate support and intervention when necessary.

• Educate patients on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources to empower their journey towards recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, strictly adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to enhance your professional skills and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population includes individuals from various backgrounds experiencing mental health challenges. As a mental health therapist at Hear-A-Mind Inc., you will work with a diverse demographic that spans various ages, ethnicities, and socioeconomic statuses. The ability to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each client is paramount, as you will facilitate therapeutic relationships that promote trust and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment practices.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and create effective treatment plans.
\n
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy to various patient populations.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, essential for building rapport with clients.

• Adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries in clinical practice.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years’ experience in a mental health counseling role is required. Candidates with experience working in outpatient or community settings are preferred, as well as those with a background in integrated care or multi-disciplinary approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
