This remote position allows you to conduct therapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms, offering flexibility and accessibility for both you and your clients. Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for a broad range of therapeutic activities. Specific duties include:

• Providing individual, family, and group therapy tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.

• Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress.

• Developing individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessment results and client feedback.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and client progress within our electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses particularly on individuals coping with substance abuse issues, as well as those experiencing co-occurring mental health disorders. You will work with diverse populations, addressing varying levels of severity in mental health challenges, while always taking a client-centered approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field. In addition, the following qualifications are required:

• A current, valid license in good standing as either an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent psychological license.

• A commitment to fulfilling pre-employment requirements, including tuberculosis screening, background checks, and drug screening.

• A proven track record of ethical and professional behavior, reflecting positively on the organization.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in teletherapy, substance abuse counseling, or with specific focus on trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n
