Key Responsibilities\n

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist will involve a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including the severity, frequency, and duration of these symptoms.

• Collaboratively developing customized treatment plans that take into account clients' individual needs, treatment goals, and personal preferences, ensuring that they feel empowered in their care journey.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders and available treatment options, while facilitating self-care strategies to enhance overall well-being.

• Monitoring and documenting clients’ progress throughout the therapeutic process, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on evaluations of their response to treatment.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to guarantee a cohesive and comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Remaining current with developments in the field of mood disorder treatment to continually enhance your therapeutic techniques and maintain the highest standards of care.

• Maintaining accurate records of treatment sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in professional development and case consultation meetings to foster clinical growth and share best practices with fellow therapists.

• Advocating for your clients by promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders, ensuring their mental health needs are recognized and prioritized.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist at Blue Horizon Psychotherapy Clinic, your primary focus will be on supporting individuals dealing with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will work with a diverse population that may include adults, adolescents, and families, each presenting unique challenges and requiring tailored therapeutic approaches. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly for mood disorders.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus. In addition to monetary compensation, you will benefit from:
