Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations through structured interviews, documenting each client’s journey from assessment to treatment completion.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific mental, behavioral, and emotional health challenges.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs.
\n
• Continuously monitor and assess client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal results.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and healthcare providers, to create cohesive intervention strategies.

• Proactively communicate with external healthcare professionals regarding client progress and any relevant treatment adjustments.
\n
• Assess and intervene to prevent behaviors that may hinder client recovery, providing education and strategies to families and caregivers.

• Manage client referrals and follow up on care coordination to ensure seamless transitions in patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling services, with a strong focus on client outcomes.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, to maintain accurate and comprehensive client records.

• In-depth understanding of addiction disorders and their interplay with mental health, as well as treatment implications.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and documentation.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and their implications for client treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
