Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to deliver high-quality care from the comfort of your own space while collaborating with a talented team of mental health professionals. The work schedule typically spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to adapt to the demands of patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and individual needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, building resilience, and fostering lasting well-being.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate integrated care and ensure consistent support.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate assistance to those in acute distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping techniques, and available community resources.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential documentation.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance expertise in trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, working with trauma-related disorders.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and expertise in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Capability to maintain composure and efficiency in high-stress situations.
\n
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

• A commitment to working cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is the minimum requirement, candidates with additional experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies will be given preference. Demonstrated proficiency in specific therapeutic techniques, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT, will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
