Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health needs, strengths, challenges, and treatment goals, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their situations.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions, including but not limited to individual, couples, family, or group therapy, tailored to diverse client needs across various demographics.
\n
• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each client, utilizing tools such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) as appropriate.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and community partners to coordinate care, share insights, and provide holistic support to clients.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment interventions in compliance with best practices and organizational standards.

As a mental health counselor, you will serve a diverse population ranging from children to adults, each facing unique challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• You must hold a valid, full license to practice independently as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note: Limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.

• No prior disciplinary actions against your license.

• Exceptional decision-making abilities and skills in evaluating treatment options for clients based on documented assessments.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine empathetic nature towards clients.

• Proficiency in using technology, including telehealth systems and electronic health records (EHR) platforms.
