Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting thorough preliminary interviews and documenting client cases from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment, ensuring comprehensive records that reflect each client’s journey.

• Evaluating clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to develop personalized treatment plans, which may include strategies tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at achieving recovery goals, adapting therapeutic techniques as necessary to fit the client’s needs.

• Monitoring clients' progress throughout their treatment plans and making adjustments as needed, while documenting changes to optimize therapeutic efficacy.

• Collaborating closely with other mental health specialists, physicians, and social workers to create cohesive intervention plans that address our clients’ complex needs.

• Following up with psychiatrists and attending physician contacts for clients who require medical attention during hospital stays, ensuring streamlined communication and continuity of care.

• Identifying potential behaviors that may hinder recovery and implementing effective strategies to mitigate these challenges.

• Providing support to family members and primary caregivers in managing psychological and behavioral challenges, thus reinforcing a strong support system for the client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and addiction. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor with a proven ability to manage diverse case loads effectively.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, with experience in AVATAR or similar platforms highly desirable.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in treating clients with concurrent physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge regarding the impact of psychotropic medications prescribed by medical specialists.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
