Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments of clients, documenting their journey from initial consultation to closure of treatment.

• Develop individualized, evidence-based intervention and recovery plans tailored to the diverse needs of each client.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions to promote mental wellness and recovery, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Monitor client progress systematically throughout the treatment process to ensure goals are being met and making adjustments as required.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, coordinating with other healthcare professionals such as psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to align treatment strategies.

• Provide follow-up support for clients transitioning from hospital care back into outpatient therapy, ensuring a seamless continuity of care.

• Educate and empower families and primary caregivers on managing mental health challenges and behavioral issues effectively.

• Work independently while also being an integral part of the mental health community, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Great Bliss, you will work primarily with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges. This may include anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, addiction, and relationship dynamics. Your role will involve assessing the unique needs of each client and developing treatment approaches that facilitate positive outcomes and empower individuals to overcome their specific challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and families.
\n
• An empathetic nature paired with solid clinical insight, capable of navigating diverse emotional landscapes.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in mental health counseling, particularly in outpatient settings.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and the ability to adapt to new technologies with ease.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits\n
