TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44195!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for, preferably within one location but can be combined. Must have 18 months of recent Step Down experience. License: A permanent state license is required. Compact licenses will be accepted for any starts from January 1, 2023, and forward. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Must-Have: Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and medication safety assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Description: Join a Step Down unit providing high-quality care to patients. The role involves caring for patients who require a lower level of intensive care. Candidates will have the opportunity to float to additional units as needed. Preference will be given to candidates with Progressive Care Unit experience. Must have active certifications and nothing pending. References from past assignments in the specialty applying for are required. Background checks will be reviewed, and any open cases will not be accepted. All travelers must comply with nicotine-free requirements unless exempt. Negative drug screening is required within 12 months of start and must be updated annually. Candidates may extend their contracts for a period of 18 months, after which a break may be required. Modules will be required pre-start and annually.
