Overview

Abacus is looking for an enthusiastic Bilingual Retail Recovery Agent to assist in re-engaging potential customers and converting open estimates into installation appointments. In this position, you will follow up with homeowners who have previously received quotes for HVAC systems, water heaters, and water softeners. Utilizing your knowledge of the plumbing or HVAC industries along with a consultative sales approach, you will address customer inquiries, navigate objections, and help recover lost revenue. Additionally, you will serve as a backup for other Recovery Agents.

 

Earning potential $80,000-$110,000 annually!!

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

• Estimate Follow-Up: Make proactive outbound calls, send text messages, and email homeowners regarding HVAC systems, water heaters, or water softener estimates that have not yet been booked or require additional follow-up.
• Pipeline Management: Manage a high volume of open estimates while ensuring all customer interactions, follow-up activities, and status updates are accurately documented within the company database.
• Consultative Selling: Address customer questions and objections related to pricing, timing, or scope of work. Educate customers on product benefits, warranties, available services, and flexible financing options to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
• Bilingual Communication: Communicate professionally and effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking customers to build trust, answer questions, and clearly explain service and product information.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Comfort Advisors, Selling Technicians, Dispatch, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from the sales process to scheduling and production.

 

Qualifications

Do I Have What It Takes?

• A minimum of 1 year call center experience.
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Proficient outbound phone skills
• Proficient written and computer skills
• HVAC knowledge is a plus 
• Finance knowledge is a plus

• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including mandatory alternating Saturdays to reach homeowners during peak time.
