Accounting Specialist

Handling day-to-day accounting for a group of growing clients, the full-time Accounting Specialist will manage full-cycle bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end close tasks in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and journal entries Conduct month-end close processes and prepare management reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness Communicate directly with clients in coordination with the client manager to maintain a high-quality client experience Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field 1-2 years of hands-on bookkeeping or general accounting experience Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online; familiarity with Bill.com, Gusto, or similar tools is a plus Experience with both cash and accrual basis accounting is preferred Strong reliability with deadlines and a proactive approach to communication and problem-solving
