Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions, including mobility, strength, range of motion, and overall functional ability.
• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans aimed at addressing each patient's unique needs and recovery goals.
• Utilizing the latest therapeutic techniques and technologies to deliver effective therapy sessions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Monitoring patient progress and outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evidence and patient feedback.
• Providing education to patients and their families about therapeutic interventions, proper body mechanics, and strategies for maintaining progress at home.
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, postoperative patients looking to regain mobility and function, and individuals treating chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will develop rapport with patients, helping them understand their conditions and the rehabilitation process, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. (A Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.)
• A current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Nevada or the ability to obtain licensure before starting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and team members.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience
