Body and Spine PT is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Pahrump, Nevada. Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, which is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technology designed to assist therapists in providing top-notch care. You will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while managing up to two patients per hour. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical function, strength, and mobility to inform treatment planning.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques to accurately assess and determine each patient's specific treatment needs.
• Design and implement personalized therapy programs that effectively restore function and alleviate pain, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Employ techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and other specialized modalities to aid in recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and home exercise programs that encourage active participation in their recovery.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with patients and their caregivers to ensure continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will develop comprehensive treatment strategies that address not only physical rehabilitation but also educate patients on preventative measures to avoid future injuries. Our diverse patient population may include athletes, active adults, and post-surgical patients, each requiring tailored care to meet their unique recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated clinical competency in orthopedic and sports medicine settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping patients achieve meaningful recovery.
• A proven ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

We value a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation. Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities and a commitment to ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest treatment methodologies is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
