Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Pahrump, Nevada, our facility offers a cutting-edge rehabilitation environment designed for optimal patient outcomes. This onsite role necessitates your active participation in a dynamic clinic setting where teamwork, innovation, and patient wellness are paramount. Our work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a work-life balance while facilitating ample time for patient engagement and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough biomechanical evaluations and movement assessments to establish individualized treatment programs.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques complemented by progressive, evidence-based rehabilitation protocols tailored to the athletic population.
• Administer comprehensive return-to-play testing and develop sport-specific training regimens aimed at enhancing performance and reducing injury risk.
• Collaborate extensively with athletic trainers, orthopedic physicians, and performance coaches to coordinate care delivery and treatment goals.
• Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies, effective recovery processes, and long-term mobility solutions tailored to their specific sports needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position centers around an active client population composed of individuals ranging from weekend enthusiasts to elite athletes. You will be directly involved in delivering care that not only addresses injuries but also enhances performance levels, promoting a culture of resilience and long-term wellness. Your interactions will focus on empowering athletes to stay engaged with their sports while minimizing setbacks due to injuries.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree with active license in Nevada or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• A demonstrated passion for sports medicine and active rehabilitation, combined with a thorough understanding of biomechanics.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional performance training methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with an inherent athlete-first approach that prioritizes their needs and goals.
• Adept at working effectively within rehabilitation as well as return-to-sport environments, promoting a seamless transition for patients.

Preferred Experience

• Certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) or Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) is highly desirable.
• A background in athletic training, collegiate or professional sports rehabilitation enhances your candidacy.
• Experience with advanced techniques, including blood flow restriction therapy, dry needling, and the use of sport-tech tools such as force plates or motion capture systems.

Compensation and Benefits
