Work Environment

As a member of our team, you will work in an outpatient office environment that emphasizes teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy equipment and technology, allowing you to provide effective treatments and interventions. You will have the chance to interact closely with other healthcare providers, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and integrated care. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, aligning with a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical functions, limitations, and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and self-management strategies, including home exercise programs.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient progress and treatment interventions accurately.
• Engage in regular team meetings and case discussions to foster knowledge-sharing and enhance clinical practices.
• Pursue professional development opportunities to stay current with evidence-based practices and industry advancements.
• Support the clinic's community outreach efforts by fostering positive relationships and enhancing public awareness of rehabilitation services.
• Mentor and train new staff and students, fostering a culture of growth and learning within our team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. You will have the opportunity to work closely with diverse patient populations, helping them to regain mobility, strength, and confidence. Building trusting relationships with patients is central to achieving effective therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada or eligibility to obtain one.
• Solid foundation in physical therapy principles across various specialties, including orthopedics and neurology.
• A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive ability to work in a dynamic environment while delivering high standards of care.
• Enthusiasm for collaborating within a multidisciplinary team focused on patient success.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
