We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at the True North Medical Institute in Pahrump, Nevada. Work Environment

You will work onsite at our Pahrump outpatient facility , which is designed to create a positive and collaborative environment. Operating Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, our clinic is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and resources. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive treatment plans that integrate physical therapy with other therapeutic modalities. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient evaluations to assess physical conditions and establish accurate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education techniques.
• Utilize evidence-based modalities to enhance treatment efficacy, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and dry needling when appropriate.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment modalities as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, emphasizing self-care, pain management strategies, and injury prevention techniques.
• Contribute positively to our clinic culture by engaging in team-building activities, contributing to case discussions, and supporting your colleagues in their professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with at True North range from post-operative orthopedic patients to those with chronic pain syndromes and sports-related injuries. Your role will necessitate creating tailored treatment plans that address unique healing needs while considering each individual's lifestyle and goals. You will have the chance to empower patients of all ages to enhance their mobility, strength, and confidence in daily living.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• A current or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Demonstrated interest and knowledge in orthopedic and/or sports rehabilitation practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with strong time management abilities.
• Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification is a plus; candidates should express a keen interest in obtaining this certification.
• Experience in manual therapy techniques, particularly with knowledge in dry needling, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Prior exposure to a diverse caseload, involving both post-operative and non-operative orthopedic patients.
• Ability to work effectively within a team that prioritizes patient care and communication.
