Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough orthopedic evaluations, including functional assessments and movement analysis, to create a comprehensive profile of each patient's abilities and limitations.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans with specific, measurable goals based on best practices, current research, and clinical guidelines.
• Utilize a variety of interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Provide education and resources to patients and families regarding recovery strategies, injury prevention, and exercises to promote ongoing wellness.
• Accurately document all treatment sessions and patient progress within our user-friendly electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Stay updated on the latest research and techniques through continuous education and participation in relevant workshops and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses primarily on treating a diverse range of patients with orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and chronic pain syndromes. You will work with individuals of all ages, adjusting your approach to meet the specific needs of children, adults, and the elderly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Nevada.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
• A strong interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, active patient engagement, and a commitment to delivering quality care.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.
• Board certification in Orthopedics (OCS) is advantageous but not essential.
