Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Pahrump, our modern rehabilitation facility is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and resources designed to facilitate effective treatment and patient engagement. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, with the potential for flexible scheduling to accommodate both staff and patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess each patient's physical condition and functional abilities.
• Design personalized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, focusing on the individual goals and needs of each patient.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the application of modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, ensuring each session is tailored to maximize patient recovery.
• Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, proper body mechanics, and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care effectively.
• Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring that all treatment interventions and outcomes are accurately documented for ongoing evaluation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with adult and elderly patients facing a myriad of challenges, such as mobility issues, chronic pain, orthopaedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and more. Your expertise will greatly influence their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. By employing evidence-based practices, you will contribute to restoring function and enhancing mobility in patients with varying degrees of physical ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Required licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• Current board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitative setting, with a strong emphasis on treatment for a diverse range of conditions.
• Proficiency in the use of advanced physical therapy modalities and intervention techniques.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a commitment to fostering positive patient relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation facility or similar setting.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive base salary, our benefits package includes:
