Your Role

• Assess results meticulously for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document comprehensive procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
