As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Presence in Houston, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $14.68 / Hour Job Schedule Sun: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service: to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to incidents: suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct patrols: throughout the banking location, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry points: lobby areas, and/or other designated spaces to help verify authorized access, assist with visitor direction, and support daily operations in a professional manner. Support closing and opening routines: as assigned, including observing premises conditions, noting unsecured doors and/or unusual activity, and communicating security‑related issues according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
