As the business expands, we are adding an Accounts Receivable Specialist to own billing and collections. This role owns billing, cash application, and collections, and partners with sales and customers to keep receivables current. Responsibilities

• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices on schedule
• Apply incoming payments including checks, ACH, wires, and credit cards
• Manage collections on past due accounts through calls and written follow-up
• Maintain and report on the aging schedule, escalating problem accounts
• Research and resolve billing disputes, short pays, and deductions
• Set up new customer accounts and support credit reviews
• Prepare AR reconciliations, reserve analysis, and support the monthly close
• Partner with sales and operations on billing accuracy and customer issues

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of accounts receivable experience
• Experience with invoicing, cash application, and collections
• Comfortable communicating directly with customers on past due balances
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience working in an ERP or accounting system
• High school diploma required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting a plus
