Medical Imaging Field Engineer - Dallas / Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities Service X‑P Imaging Equipment in the Dallas/Fort Worth (East Texas) area as a Customer Service Engineer. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision. Deliver timely and effective repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction. Manage financial performance within the territory, meeting or exceeding revenue, expense, and inventory targets. Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts. Maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers and perform necessary administrative duties accurately. Qualifications High school diploma required; technical associate’s degree or equivalent preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments. Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive independently day and night and a good driving record. Ability to lift 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walk, climb ladders/step stools, bend, twist, sit, squat, stand, reach, and manipulate with good vision. Excellent judgment in customer relations and managing company resources; strong competency in instrument systems technology (mechanics, electricity, chemistry, software, electronics, hydraulic, pneumatic). Required Skills Proficient use of tools and service test equipment, both individually and in a team setting. Proficiency in network applications and tools such as eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, and NAM Customer Service Engineer Tools. Knowledge of electric power supplies, grounding, and testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Vendor and Credentialing Requirements Position must have full access to Siemens Healthineers client sites to perform essential functions, meeting all required Vendor Credentialing requirements (e.g., valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, healthcare training) and maintaining them throughout employment.
