Employee Relations Specialist/HR Business Analyst
Location: Irvine, CA or Santa Clara, CA Duration: Long term contract
Important notes:
- Support performance management processes, including coaching managers, drafting and reviewing performance improvement plans, and conducting intake meetings with managers and employees.
- The role will not involve conducting or managing investigations, though some administrative support related to investigations may be required.
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Emotional maturity and professionalism
- Ability to work independently after training
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Experience in performance management or HR generalist roles (25 years preferred)
- Software Requirements: No specific HR tools required; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is sufficient.
Job description:
- The Employee Relations Specialist reports to the Employee Relations Director and serves as a key liaison between management and employees, focusing on maintaining positive workplace relationships, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. This role involves providing performance management, providing guidance on HR matters, and fostering a productive work environment.
- Maintain detailed records of all employee relations activities
- Document investigations and disciplinary actions accurately
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, HR, or similar role
- Knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, Title VII, etc.)
Required Education:
Bachelors degree
Required Years of Experience:

Desired Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
Additional Information:
Full time on site M-F (Irvine or Santa Clara)
