Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each client’s unique mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based evaluation tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to the evolving needs of clients, with measurable goals and interventions.

• Provide psychoeducation for patients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed for mental wellness.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team, including physicians and social workers, to ensure a unified approach to treatment.

• Maintain accurate and thorough client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and promote confidentiality.

• Participate in regular professional development activities, including training sessions and workshops, to stay current with emerging practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a varied client population, including adults and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your support will be integral in assisting clients from diverse backgrounds in navigating their mental health journeys and achieving improved outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• A valid New York State license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) is required to practice as a licensed mental health counselor.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a counseling setting, preferably within a community health or clinic environment.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
