Work Environment\n

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand the developmental needs of children.

• Participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child’s unique needs.

• Monitoring progress and outcomes of children and families as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

• Providing support and guidance to families, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to enhance their child’s development.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based strategies and the Natural Learning Environment Practices to promote learning and growth.
\n
• Fostering strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and enriching environment.

• Adhering to and ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations related to social work and child welfare.

• Developing rapport and employing a coaching model to teach families effective strategies for their child’s everyday learning and development.

• Utilizing innovative approaches in developmental support and intervention techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children from birth to three years of age who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. You will work closely with infants and toddlers, utilizing assessment tools and engaging with families to help them navigate their child's unique challenges. By enhancing family capacity and providing tailored support, you will make significant contributions to improving developmental outcomes for our youngest community members.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, you must possess:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel occasionally for home visits.
