Work Environment\n

This position allows you to work from the comfort and safety of your own home, utilizing our state-of-the-art telehealth technology. Your work hours will primarily be weekdays, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient scheduling needs. You will be part of a streamlined, supportive telehealth team focused on enhancing patient access to mental health care while maintaining a nurturing and collaborative work culture.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to deeply understand each patient's unique circumstances, which will inform the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the needs of individual patients, considering their cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, fostering resilience and well-being among patients as they navigate their mental health concerns.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.

• Offer timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, helping patients through immediate challenges with calm and effective strategies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and the range of community resources available to them.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation compliant with all relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training to continually enhance service delivery.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, ensuring culturally informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, and socio-economic statuses. By delivering culturally competent care, you will empower these individuals to express their experiences and challenges, enhancing their access to mental health resources and support.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as one of the following: LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• In-depth understanding of a range of mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment approaches and cultural competence in conducting therapy.

• Demonstrated experience delivering individual and group therapy, emphasizing culturally responsive methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities and resilience in managing difficult situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for connecting with diverse individuals.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
