Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each client's history and determine the best treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building to promote swift recovery and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group sessions aimed at helping clients process traumatic experiences and cultivate practical coping skills.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists and additional professionals to assure seamless integrated care for all clients.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and supported.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, enhancing their understanding of the healing process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to the evolution of trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, ensuring the highest quality of care is always delivered.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid LPC licensure in the state of Tennessee is mandatory.

• 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, enabling you to draw from a well of knowledge and skill.

• A robust understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems is necessary to support efficient patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, providing stability and reassurance to clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
