Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating evidence-based practices such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) to address both mental health and substance use concerns.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions focused on equipping clients with essential coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation skills.

• Facilitate coordination of care with an interdisciplinary team, ensuring treatment plans are enacted cohesively and effectively across various specialties.

• Perform ongoing substance use monitoring, employing motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients and support them in their recovery journeys.

• Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, highlighting the importance of treatment adherence for optimal recovery outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and referrals while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
