The core working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments of children and adolescents through interviews, observations, and surveys to identify psychological and emotional needs.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that are informed by developmental stages, family dynamics, and evidence-based practices.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy, to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers to create a nurturing environment that supports child development.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and ensure that treatments are coordinated for optimal outcomes.

• Offer crisis intervention strategies and support for patients during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, resources, and coping strategies.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case discussions to ensure continual learning and cohesive teamwork.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and staying updated on current research within the field of child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a multitude of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping their emotional, social, and academic development while also supporting their families through the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California is required.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, intervention strategies, and best practices.
\n
• Proven experience in providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy.

• Demonstrated ability to establish trust and rapport with diverse patient populations and their families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience working with young people, particularly within community health or clinical settings, is preferred. Experience with diverse populations and variations in treatment modalities is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
