Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while you engage with patients through virtual therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapies and take family dynamics into account.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions using established therapeutic techniques, while adapting to the developmental stages of young patients.

• Facilitate family therapy to guide parents and caregivers in fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for their children.

• Work closely with our child psychiatrists and clinical team to deliver coordinated care that encompasses all aspects of a patient’s mental health.

• Offer crisis intervention services to support children and adolescents during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, promoting informed decision-making and proactive management of health.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and opportunities for professional growth within the organization.

• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and therapeutic advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve children and adolescents, ranging from early childhood to young adulthood, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues that impact their daily lives. Your empathetic approach and clinical expertise will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and emotional well-being in our young clients, leading to improved outcomes for both patients and families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• A strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health, with demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and child-centered approach.
\n
• A proven ability to establish rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families, enhancing therapeutic engagement.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and other relevant technologies to streamline client management and administrative tasks.

• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a collaborative environment focused on optimizing patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, specifically focused on child and adolescent populations.

• Prior experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, or similar approaches.

• Familiarity with community resources and support systems for pediatric mental health services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
