Insightful Journeys Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist, licensed as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, to join our team. This full-time position revolves around providing essential mental health services to children and adolescents in a remote outpatient setting located in Glendale, Arizona. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the mental well-being of our young patients through individualized therapy and collaborative care.

Work Environment\n

The remote position allows flexibility while contributing to a dynamic outpatient practice. Your primary working hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, evaluating their emotional, psychological, and social needs.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient's unique developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions addressing a range of mental health concerns, utilizing modalities that have shown efficacy in child and adolescent treatment.

• Deliver family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, promoting a nurturing and supportive environment for the young individuals in therapy.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other professionals, ensuring holistic care that considers medical, educational, and familial factors influencing mental health.

• Offer crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, advocating for the immediate well-being and safety of the patients.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering greater understanding and engagement in the therapy process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring complete and organized tracking of patient progress.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting children and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• An accredited master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Proven knowledge of mental health disorders specific to children and adolescents, with an emphasis on evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to young patients.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and child-centered approach to therapy.

• A proven ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a willingness to engage with technology as part of care delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
