This position is fully remote, allowing the successful candidate to work from the comfort of their home while still being an integral part of our esteemed psychiatric team. Additionally, flexible scheduling options are available, with a typical workweek running Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although occasional evening shifts may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, effectively evaluating their mental health needs, symptoms, and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s developmental stage and family dynamics, ensuring collaborative input from caregivers.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group sessions, to address various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate engaging family therapy sessions to foster a supportive home environment and empower families in managing their child's mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other professionals to create a coordinated care approach, tuning into the broader health and well-being of our clients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate problem-solving strategies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and community resources, ensuring they are active participants in their care.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of patient progress in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy services focused on a young clientele.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach in all interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
