Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that accommodate specific developmental milestones, psychological concerns, and family dynamics.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities, to effectively address issues like anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, working closely with parents and caregivers to foster a nurturing environment that supports healing and growth.

• Collaborate extensively with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure continuity and coordination of care for our young patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, employing strategies that prioritize the safety and well-being of the child.

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in all documentation.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and team meetings to stay current with advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on supporting children and adolescents who face a wide array of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. Our goal is to provide effective therapeutic support that leads to improved emotional and psychological well-being, helping young individuals navigate their formative years with resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic practices.

• Prior experience providing individual and family therapy to young patients, demonstrating an ability to engage effectively with this population.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
